Dan Stephenson, Founder and Director
Dan set up the business DJ Cleaning in 1967 as a sole trader carrying out carpet and upholstery cleaning, general house clearance and cleaning. He then developed the business activities to include the removal of non-licensed asbestos materials, for example; garage roofs etc. and incorporated the business in February 2002 to form D J Cleaning Ltd. In 2008 Dan’s son, Harvey joined the family business and he has developed and grown the business it further with the introduction of licenced asbestos removal contracts.
Dan has a lifetime’s experience in agriculture and heads up that side of the business.
Outside of work Dan enjoys restoring vintage tractors and attends regular tractor runs and shows. He also enjoys walking and regularly completes 12 mile circuits.
Harvey Stephenson, Managing Director
Harvey is responsible for the management of D J Cleaning. He took over from Dan Stephenson, his father, in 2008. He has a hands-on approach in all aspects of the business.
